Rack Mount Hidden Wine Cellar Cooling
Upon doing a heat load calculation to determine the BTUs necessary to cool the wine room, a 6600 Twin evaporator unit was recommended. To make this calculation, we took into consideration the R-value of the insulation in the walls, floor and ceiling, the size of the room, the fact that 2 of the walls are exterior walls, and that a solid door is being used. Depending on the BTU needed and the configuration of the room, it is sometimes better to use twin evaporators than a single evaporator for greater efficiency.
